Binaura

binaura is a collaboration between people who are working in the fields of visual and sonic aspects of life. main projects are based around performance, installation and new media.

ALPHA

Concept

Closure of the visitors disturbs the meditative state of the garden. If someone steps inside her aura, she reacts with sudden noise, breaking the inner lifecycle.

Realization

The installation is made of wood, sand, stones, electronics and digital content. A camera is watching the aura of the garden from above, placed nearby the projector.

They are connected with a computer which is running the custom-built software (pd/openframeworks). Six speakers are built inside the garden, running six separate sound channels, creating a special sonic atmosphere.
