Registrations are open for the new edition of FILE Symposium and FILE Workshop, which happen this year within the program of FILE PAI – Paulista Avenue Interactive. FILE PAI is a project of digital public art that occupies several spaces at Paulista Avenue and its area, in the city of Sao Paulo, and one of the partner spaces this year is Centro Cultural Sao Paulo, where the gatherings will take place.

Between July 19 and 22, 2011, visitors may freely attend to the talks, to discuss and produce art with Brazilian and foreign artists in several workshops that will happen during those four days.

FILE Symposium presents an extended program, with a condensed content that shows the diversity of digital-culture thinking. Will participate artists and thinkers exposing panoramas that illustrate the aesthetic production of electronic art, besides the tables in which Brazilian and international artists, theoreticians and researchers of the art-technology area will take part.

FILE Workshop, a space dedicated to reflection and production of content in the areas of digital arts and media, counts this year on two programs. Besides the workshops programmed for FILE PAI, in July 19-22, the Festival has also programmed for July 12-21 the workshop AA São Paulo Design - a design workshop that is part of the program AA Brazil Visiting School, organized by the Architectural Association School of Architecture of London, and under the direction of architects Franklin Lee and Anne Save de Beaurecueil.
